Our magnificent miner Gene has just returned from mining in Oregon. He was mining at the Beverly Marie Claim, which is a claim in the Graveyard Point collecting area. Gene and his trusty companions mined on the east side of the claim and discovered a darker colored Graveyard Point Plume Agate. They returned with hundreds of pounds of material, which has nice concentrated plumes and some gold and black plumes. The new Graveyard Point Plume can be checked out on our site: http://thegemshop.com/collections/rough-rock-1/products/graveyard-point-plume-agate-2014
Regency Rose Plume Agate, which is a variation of Graveyard Point Plume Agate was also mined. It comes from a different location at the Beverly Marie Claim. The agate has plumes like the classic Graveyard Point Plume Agate, but with more red or rosy coloring in an amber colored background. It is available on our site: http://thegemshop.com/collections/rough-rock-1/products/graveyard-point-plume-agate-regency-rose-mine
Gene also assisted with mining at the Linda Marie Claim. Linda Marie Agate, which was previously known as Christmas Tree Agate, displays rich green, red, and white plumes. He returned with a sample of this material as well. We have a limited quantity of this material available: http://thegemshop.com/collections/rough-rock-1/products/linda-marie-plume-agate
