Fossil Hunt Contest
Kids, put down the tablets, IPods, and video game controllers and get outside and explore for treasures! Have your kids grab a magnifying glass and search the earth for a fossil to identify, prepare, and submit to win exciting prizes. The Gem Shop's Fossil Hunt Contest is open to kids entering 1st through 8th grade in the fall. Prizes include gift certificates to The Gem Shop, a fossil pine cone, an opalescent ammonite, and a piece of fossilized amber. Entries are due August 31st.
