This polished cabochon is made from Wildhorse Picture Jasper and shows a dark blue-green sky over warm tan and brown landscape patterning.

There are now several types of material named something similar, but the original Wildhorse Jasper comes from eastern Oregon, very close to the Idaho border. It lies within the same large, jasper-producing region that produces Blue Mustang and Rocky Butte jaspers.
