Swazi Agate is also called Mozambique Agate, and is from border of Mozambique and the Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland. The material commonly displays gray to blue and rose colored agate with banding. Parallax and sagenite are possible, and some can have quartz centers.
Graded material to include mostly whole nodules, partially broken nodules are possible if they show good color and pattern and can cut a full face. Material that is visibly quartz or overly fractured has been graded out. Pictures show the material wet and dry in different lighting, some broken material so the inner color is visible, and some examples of polished specimens.
Size range: large variety of sizes available, from 1" - 10" in diameter. The "average" material is nodules weighing between 1/2lb and 4lbs, with large individual nodules weighing 10lbs+.
