Obsidian is an organically created glass, formed through felsic lava that rapidly cools after exploding past the earth’s crust. Typical Obsidian is a semi-translucent black that can have slight tints of green or brown. This obsidian is black with natural "snowflakes" of light gray spherulites. The spots are formed through devitrification when molecules within glass (which has no crystal structure) change their structure and crystallize.
Tumbled stones range from 0.5" to 1.5"
