From Russia, Seraphinite is named for its feathery appearance - drawing from the biblical seraphim angels. It has metallic shades of forest green with silvery chatoyancy that appear in banded sprays, and a bit of honey colored calcite along one edge. One side is polished with a thin layer of resin.
