Agate Creek Agate comes from the premier locality for agates in Australia. This polished piece shows dark hues of red-orange and a greenish brown, with a bleaching effect towards the outer edges of the nodule. The agate shows water-level and concentric banding, with small spots of parallax.

Agate Creek Agate, also commonly called Queensland Agate, comes from an area in the north of Queensland, Australia, where several creeks come to a head. Naturally weathered agates can be found in gravel beds or soil fields, and several deposits produce nodules through hand-digging.
