This Polyhedroid Agate slice is polished on both sides, making it perfect for custom jewelry use. It shows alternating bands of quartz and banded agate in cool white and translucent shades, with an open center revealing sparkling crystal druzy.

Polyhedroid Agates were found in Paraiba, Brazil, but are now unavailable. They are a unique formation of agate, featuring naturally flat surfaces at a variety of different angles. They are believed to have formed in the negative spaces between large crystal blades of calcite or aragonite, and can occasionally feature multiple "chambers" where those blades eroded and adjacent agates fused together.
