This polished Polyhedroid Agate specimen pair shows a crystal filling with a long open vug through the center that is coated in white banded agate.

Polyhedroid Agates were found in Paraiba, Brazil, but are now unavailable. They are a unique formation of agate, featuring naturally flat surfaces at a variety of different angles. They are believed to have formed in the negative spaces between large crystal blades of calcite or aragonite, and can occasionally feature multiple "chambers" where those blades eroded and adjacent agates fused together.
