MRC338JR Moroccan Agate Specimen
This polished specimen comes from the Middle-Atlas mine in Kerrouchen, Morocco. It features golden brown and bright red-orange plume agate surrounding a quartz section with pale yellow agate. The back of this nodule is cut smooth at an angle to the face.
4.25" x 5.25", width between .75" - 1.5"
Moroccan Agates come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and can be found in locations all across Morocco. It is known for its brilliant colors and intriguing patterns, it makes superb cabochons and takes an exceptional polish. The great variety makes it an excellent addition to any collection.
