This Megalodon fossil tooth comes from the coast of South Carolina. It has grayish beige and dark brown coloring with weathered edges and root.
The otodus megalodon is an extinct species of shark that swam and lived in warm oceans globally, from the Miocene to Pliocene eras. The largest Megalodon tooth ever found has been just under 7 1/2 inches long!
