This Megalodon fossil tooth comes from the coast of South Carolina. The upper root is a textured warm dark brown, with a missing upper corner. The beige tooth shows worn serration.

The otodus megalodon is an extinct species of shark that swam and lived in warm oceans globally, from the Miocene to Pliocene eras. The largest Megalodon tooth ever found has been just under 7 1/2 inches long!
