This small Malawi Alimajo Agate polished cabochon features a complete ring of tiny fortification banding at the beginning of a flow channel. The agate is translucent with banding in orange and white, and speckled bands of red-orange to red.

Collector Cabochons: Once in a while we cut a stone which is a rare or exceptional example of the material it was cut from. We group these items here and call them "Collector Cabochons". They can be and are used for jewelry, but sometimes are just collected and kept as they are.
