This freeform Labradorite is from Madagascar, is fully polished, and has a flat base. It features strong labradorescence on both sides of the piece, mostly in shades of blue and aqua with little spots of yellow, orange, and purple.

Originally found in Labrador, Canada, Labradorite is a feldspar mineral with the chemical formula (Na,Ca)₁₋₂Si₃₋₂O₈. It is typically dark grey to black with sections of iridescent "flashes" of color, known as labradorescence. The mineral contains crystal twinning in its structure, creating many sheet-like layers called lamellae. Light interference with these lamellae produces Labradorite's famously colorful appearance.
