This polished pair of Fishhook Thundereggs features gray, brown, and brick red rhyolite, with little open vugs between some areas of color change.

Fishhook Thundereggs come from the Little Florida Mountains near Deming, New Mexico. These rhyolitic thundereggs can be partially hollow or completely filled. Quartz, calcite, chalcedony, and seams of faintly banded agate can all be found inside, along with yellow and red staining.
