This polished pair of Fishhook Thundereggs features gray and reddish brown rhyolite with two small open cavities that reveal thin bands of chalcedony coated in crystal growth.

Fishhook Thundereggs come from the Little Florida Mountains near Deming, New Mexico. These rhyolitic thundereggs can be partially hollow or completely filled. Quartz, calcite, chalcedony, and seams of faintly banded agate can all be found inside, along with yellow and red staining.
