This polished pair of Fishhook Thundereggs features reddish brown rhyolite with a filling combining crystal and gray and black agate in spikey, geometric shapes where it has coated and filled the gaps created by the crystals. The areas of gray agate fluoresce green under UV light (tested under 365nm).

Fishhook Thundereggs come from the Little Florida Mountains near Deming, New Mexico. These rhyolitic thundereggs can be partially hollow or completely filled. Quartz, calcite, chalcedony, and seams of faintly banded agate can all be found inside, along with yellow and red staining.
