These crystal clusters are made from a material that is similar to the popular Yooperlites from Michigan, but comes from Mongolia. It can also be called Fire Sodalite, Emberlite, or Glowdalite, and is a syenite (a rock similar to granite) rich with fluorescent sodalite. These carvings have a flat base with multiple crystal points, and are mostly gray, with black or sometimes peach speckles. Under UV light, they show bright yellow-orange fluorescence.
Pictured in regular lighting and under 365nm UV light (fluorescence also displays under typical longwave - 395nm).
