Fishhook Thundereggs come from the state of New Mexico. They have a bumpy, brown outer rind and can be partially hollow or fully filled. The pattern inside is usually a combination of the rhyolitic rind and brecciation lines created during its formation. The brecciated pattern can be very irregular in appearance or make a classic thunderegg star shape. Areas of brecciation can be filled with quartz or agate (usually grey or blue) or outlined in agate and crystal.
Size Range: Full range of 1/4lb to 5lb eggs (approximately 1.5" to 8") with most of the material being 2lb - 3lb eggs (approx. 3" to 5")
