This gemstone creation can be used is a beautiful hanging suncatcher, created by artist Jim Pape from various gemstones and chalcedonies wrapped with copper and soldered, with an antique patina. It has a sturdy chain with a loop on the end created from the chain links. Not intended for outdoor use.
This piece combines two Brazilian Agate slabs that show parallax within their banding, and slabs of Polka Dot Agate from Oregon and seam agate from Rodeo Flats, Arizona. In the center is a collected piece of botryoidal chalcedony with a natural quartz crystal hanging beneath.
