This is the same dop wax The Gem Shop Inc. uses for dopping cabochons. It melts at about 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Stones have a lesser tendency to move or shift when held in this wax. It is useful during drilling, grinding and polishing operations where increased pressure and heat may cause the stone to shift or move.
Available per stick or per box (4 sticks).
Each stick is a 1.5cm square and 11inches long.
Please note that wax sticks break very easily during shipment. Because this does not affect their usability at all, we will not replace broken sticks.
