This carving of a turtle hatchling is created from a solid piece of Chrysoprase fixed to a Black Onyx stand, that has a slight curve on the bottom to give the piece a balanced bobble. This piece was expertly hand-carved in China. The little head and top of the turtle shell peak out of the egg, created from the warm brown outer host of the Chrysoprase. The baby turtle itself is a bright turquoise-green, with little black eyes added.
