This specimen has a naturally exposed back with a polished face in classic Blue Mountain colors, and sits up nicely on its own. It features muted shades of blue-green jasper with parallel banding and overlapping egg patterning.

Blue Mountain Picture Jasper comes from southern Oregon in Malheur County. It is famous for its fine orbs or 'egg' patterning, and commonly has tans, gold, browns, olive, and blue coloring.
