This large specimen has a natural back with host rock and exposed jasper, with a polished face in classic Blue Mountain colors. It features banded jasper and overlapping egg patterns forming hill-like scenery, with brecciated inclusions of matrix towards the outer edges. It shows muted colors of dark to light blue-greens and hints of golden brown and tan.

Blue Mountain Picture Jasper comes from southern Oregon in Malheur County. It is famous for its fine orbs or 'egg' patterning, and commonly has tans, gold, browns, olive, and blue coloring.
