From Bahia, Brazil, also sometimes called Brazilian Rainbow Agate. This is a nodular banded agate that is partially water-worn and typically on the small size. It shows warm shades of yellow, orange, and red, with white banding. It can have any combination of fortification banding, water-level banding, quartz pockets, parallax, eyes/orbs, or clusters of orbs that create a 'flower agate' pattern.
The material is still suitable for tumbling, cabbing, surface polishing, cutting and polishing, or displayed naturally.
Whole or partially broken nodules are possible. Size ranges between 1" to 4" for individual pieces. 2 - 10 pieces per pound. Please let us know if you have a preference on rock size in your order notes!
