This polished Agua Nueva Agate cabochon features a center pattern of translucent agate with off-white banding that produces strong parallax. Around this section is more banding in white with muted pink speckles and deep wine red, followed by mossy brown inclusions.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, often containing both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
