Mahogany Obsidian is a type of black Obsidian with reddish brown coloring from hematite inclusions. Obsidian is created when a volcanic flow is cooled very quickly into a natural glass. A 1 lb lot includes 30 - 45 individual pieces of 0.5" - 1" in size.
