Bruneau Jasper comes from thundereggs in the Bruneau Canyon in Idaho, and is so known for its egg-patterning that the feature is sometimes called 'Bruneau patterning' in other rocks. This polished slab shows deep and earthy orange jasper with a lighter colored brecciated egg in the center. Hints of brown and tans are intermingled with healed brecciation lines, and light host rock is included on the sides.
