This polished Agua Nueva Agate specimen features an open druzy pocket surrounded by colorful banded agate in golden yellow, raspberry pink, and pale lavender to gray before dense moss agate in green, golden yellow, and red.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
