This polished Agua Nueva Agate specimen features a quartz center surrounded by banded agate in white, pale periwinkles, pale pink to deeper raspberry, and golden yellow, with dense moss agate in dark red.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
