This polished Laguna Lace Agate specimen shows intricate lacey banded agate in pastel shades of pink, peach, and yellow and white. The top has a band of translucent crystal, and a few spaces within have tiny openings coated in crystal.

Laguna Lace Agate, often called Red Lace Agate, comes from northwestern Chihuahua, Mexico in a region known for lace agates. While red and white are prevalent colors, it also frequently shows yellow, orange, pink, or even blue or purple. Sections or bands of quartz are common in this vein agate, as well as intricate patterns as a result of tube formations or pseudomorphs of calcite crystals.
