This petrified limb cast comes from a petrified wood collecting area across central western Wyoming. It has one polished end that shows the classic wood grain pattern in brown and black, with sections of translucent milky agate on the outer edges. The natural rough end appears to have broken off of a larger piece, and it allows the specimen to sit upright at a nice display angle. The outer crust has well-preserved bark texture.
