     	This Agua Nueva Agate polished specimen features a split of dense moss agate and banded agate. The moss agate shows dark red and yellow to orange coloring interspersed with translucent lavender agate and open spots of druzy. Around this is purple banded agate with interesting tube formations and a center of yellow banding with an open druzy pocket.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
