This polished Agua Nueva Agate specimen features green moss, banding in white, gray, red, and yellow, with tiny tubes. This specimen does have a treated fracture on the polished face, but the crack does not extend through the back of the nodule.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
