This polished Agua Nueva Agate pair has pastel shades of pink, purplish-gray, white, and dark yellow. The outer edges of the nodule shows moss agate in the translucent section before the banding starts, and a partial day/night pairing occurs in one section of the banded centers. Another center features a sparkling druzy pocket, which goes deeper into one half than the other. Spots of strong parallax show throughout both halves.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
