This polished Agua Nueva Agate slab features beautiful banded agate with strong parallax, green moss agate sections, lacey banding created from tube inclusions, and spots of streamers from healed brecciation. An open crystal vug goes through one side of the slab, surrounded by agate in shades of purple-tinged gray, medium to light pink, and hints of bright red and golden orange.

Agua Nueva Agate is famous for its striking nodules of colorful banded agate and tube formations. The agate can form in veins and nodules, and shows both banded and moss agate. It comes from Chihuahua, Mexico, roughly 20 miles northeast of the Laguna deposits.
