Technically a variety of Labradorite, Rainbow Moonstone is a whitish feldspar from India that has the tendency to 'flash' iridescent colors, usually blue. It is semi-translucent, has a hardness of 6 to 6.5, and contains inclusions of Black Tourmaline and Mica.
Smallish material, suitable for small specimens, cabochons, carving, or tumbling.
