Agate Creek Agate comes from the premier locality for agates in Australia. This polished specimen has a waxy outer exterior in yellow-orange, with banded agate in yellow, and a little water-level banding in white, and orange. The bands show strong parallax.

Agate Creek Agate, also commonly called Queensland Agate, comes from an area in the north of Queensland, Australia, where several creeks come to a head. Naturally weathered agates can be found in gravel beds or soil fields, and several deposits produce nodules through hand-digging.
