Black River Agate, per lb

Black River Agate from Argentina is a naturally water-worn agate prized for its banding and history of geological movement that creates these partially-tumbled nodules. Each piece features visible banding. Earthy browns, yellows, and oranges are most common, with some white or black banding, blue-gray, or parallax (shadow effect) being possible.

While traditionally these nodules are left natural and intact, the material is still suitable for surface polishing, cutting and polishing, and making cabochons.

Whole or partially broken nodules are possible. Size ranges between 0.2 - 1.4 lbs for individual pieces. 1 - 5 pieces per pound.
