This Megalodon fossil tooth comes from the coast of South Carolina. It has beige and dark brown coloring with a textured root and fairly intact serration along the edges.
The otodus megalodon is an extinct species of shark that swam and lived in warm oceans globally, from the Miocene to Pliocene eras. The largest Megalodon tooth ever found has been just under 7 1/2 inches long!
