Gallery: Imperial Jasper

Imperial Jasper and the sub-variety known as Royal Imperial Jasper are found in Zacatecas, Mexico about 50 miles north of the city of Guadalajara. Often reported as coming from Jalisco, the deposits are actually just north of the border between Jalisco and Zacatecas. It is found on the east slope of a steep canyon covered with vegetation along Highway 23. To learn more check out our mining page or our YouTube video about Imperial Jasper.
