Tour of Estacion Ojo Laguna

Estacion Ojo Laguna is a village along the railroad tracks on the east side of Ojo Laguna (Eye Lake). Not to be confused with the slightly bigger town of Ojo Laguna, which lies just west of Hwy 45 on the other side of the lake, Estacion Ojo Laguna is a small railroad stop and ranching community. About three quarters of a mile to the west of the railroad tracks, the land rises about 1500 feet in a small north-south ridge of mountains. It is in these mountains that the Laguna Agate is found and it is in Estacion Ojo Laguna that many of the people live that work the various mines.
