Gallery: Lake Superior Agate

Also known as "Lakers" this agate is found mostly in Minnesota and Wisconsin near and along the shores of Lake Superior.  Formed from lava eruptions in Minnesota nearly a billion years ago.  Large nodules of this agate are rare.
