Royal Imperial Jasper refers to the type of Imperial Jasper that is nodular and has the possibility of having an "egg pattern" on the inside. Shades of light to dark pinks, greens, and tan are prevalent, with some having mauve or blue.
This lot contains primarily small nodules, between 1/2" to 2" with the possibility of some larger pieces. All pieces are partially broken, which allows for the ability to see the color and pattern they contain, but also may limit cutting ability. These small nodules are ideal for small specimens, creating cabochons, or even tumbling. Many have full egg patterning and multiple colors.
