Royal Imperial Jasper refers to the type of Imperial Jasper that is nodular and has the possibility of having an "egg pattern" on the inside. Shades of light to dark pinks, greens, and tan are prevalent, with some having mauve or blue.
This material has been graded for specimen quality, and consists of nodules ranging from 2" to 7" long, with approximately 4" being the average size. The material has been sorted to contain whole nodules, partial nodules with a full pattern, and to remove small broken pieces. This can produce specimens, pairs, and cabochons with multiple colors and full patterns.
