Malachite is a secondary copper mineral normally found in Africa. It has beautiful bright and deep green colors with intricate banding and botryoidal patterns. This is an end cut with a mostly rough back and a polished front face. The chemical formula for malachite is Cu₂CO₃(OH)₂.
