Inca Agate, Nodular, 10 lb lot
Inca Agate, Nodular 10lb Lot contains whole or three-quarters whole nodules. These lots contain nodules able to cut full patterns. The nodules range in size from 1" to 3" with an occasional larger one found. The main colors are red, purple, and pink with other colors possible. The main picture is of the rocks dry and in the secondary image the rocks are wet.
This banded nodular agate is founds high in the Andes Mountains of Peru, not far from the vein agate material of the same name. The nodules can also have pseudomorphic and sagenitic inclusions. The agates are collected near the surface there is a fair amount of fracturing in the agate. It is near impossible to get a fracture free cut on the larger nodules.
