BLR108 Black River Agate Nodule
Black River Agate from Argentina is a naturally water-worn agate prized for its banding and history of geological movement that creates these partially-tumbled nodules. This specimen has quite a unique shape - a mostly round, flatter, and pitted nodule, the section with banding rises up and sits perfectly visible on the face of the specimen. It features dark brown, pale yellow/tan banding, and pitting in blue-gray and pale yellow.
