Winners Announced!

The contest has come to a close and the winners have been chosen. We received over 30 entries -- mostly from local students, but also from as far away as North Carolina. Besides Cedarburg and Grafton, Wisconsin contestants hailed from Oak Creek, Milwaukee, Hartford, and Kewaskum. Our contestants found many fine fossils which made the judging quite difficult. The most popular collecting areas in Wisconsin were the Schlitz Audubon Center, Lion’s Den Gorge, and various local lakes and rivers.  Thank you to the Milwaukee Public Museum and Gary Rosenberg in assisting in the judging.
