The rock from which these beautiful cabochons were cut was mined on the eastern slope of the Owyhee River canyon in southeastern Oregon. The cabs shown here are from the Christine Marie claim, Big Hole dig. All the Christine Marie cabs show the typical "egg pattern" and may include several colors such as gold, brown, tan, blue-green, pink, peach, and red.
